Amare Back on the Court

According to multiple reports Amare Stoudemire is gearing up for a Game 3 return against the Pacers on Saturday. After missing most of the season after undergoing two knee surgeries, Amare will be welcomed back with open arms.

On Sunday during game 1 of the Eastern Conference Semi-Finals against the Pacers, the tired looking Knicks were manhandled in the paint - pulling in 30 rebounds while the Pacer big men gobbled up 44. JR Smith continued to struggle from everywhere on the court, making just 4 shots for 17 points. And although Carmleo Anthony lead all scorers with 27 points, he only shot 35% from the field. His shoulder injury seemed to be one factor holding him back, while the refs were another. Foul trouble  totally changed up the Knicks offensive game plan. Melo had four fouls called against him before the third quarter. While Tyson Chandler ended up fouling out with just above 2 minutes left in the fourth.

Although their are a majority of Knick fans that fear his return, as he may disrupt their momentum, at this point in this extremely pivotal series another able body will be a huge bonus. However, ABLE is the key word here. If he puts up some baskets in a few key minutes of the game, take some pressure off Melo and JR, and just plays A LITTLE defense his return will be a blessing in disguise.

Only time will tell #Knickstape.
